2. SOFT SHIRTS COME IN TWO MAIN STYLES

Soft shirts come in two main styles, fashion fit and standard fit. A fashion fit is found in shirts like American Apparel and Canvas. These fits are tailored to fit snug.

Standard fits are boxier in their builds. Gildan and Anvil are going to fit in this manner. These soft shirts are not snug and are not tailored for a specific fit.

3. SOFT SHIRTS REQUIRE GREAT INK

There are two dominating inks in the industry, plastisol and water based.

Plastisol is made with a plastic. It coats your soft shirt with the design. This method, though effective at screen printing a design, decreases softness, results in cracked designs and cuts off breathability.

Water based ink is an ink that dyes your garment directly. The ink places your design directly into the fabrics of the soft shirt. It results in a soft, breathable and long-lasting print.
